Oubound VoIP services

Outbound services simply mean that you can make phone calls from your VoIP phone or phone system to normal telephone numbers over the internet. These calls are charged for. We operate very simple pricing - we charge per minute for calls (measured to the second) - just paying for calls you make. To make outbound calls you have to have an inbound number. Each inbound number provides an outbound SIP/IAX login.

One of the main reasons for using VoIP based outbound calls is the flexibility. You no longer have to rent a number of lines or channels, just have an internet connection with enough capacity (much cheaper). You also get more control over your calling number.

Simple phone service

The simplest use of the service is a stand alone SIP phone such as the SNOM300 connected to the internet. This has a simple SIP login to our call servers. It has a single telephone number. Incoming and outgoing calls work as you expect.

Features

We provide fully itemised bills, including details of failed calls (busy/no answer, etc) and freephone calls.

We now have an option to provide call recording. You can set per number for inbound, outbound or both, and the recording is emailed to you at the end of the call. The recoridng is made on your behalf, and you need to confirm any legal issues with making recordings. Generally, for personal use, there are no issues. We do not hold the recording on our call server once emailed. We are planning to add encryption to emailed recordings soon.

Future features

This is a new service, but we plan to expand it to allow more features in thr future including choice of outgoing calling number, centrex services, and much more.
