Who are we?

Andrews & Arnold Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, No. 3342760, registered office Enterprise Court, Downmill Road, Bracknell. VAT 678 7316 84

Formed as a Limited company in 1997, after many years in telecoms, Andrews & Arnold Ltd is now a widely recognised ISDN equipment supplier and Internet Service Provider. Using internet based marketing and providing a high level of technical support, Andrews & Arnold Ltd is acknowledged by equipment manufacturers and customers alike as a rising star in telecommunications.

We deal with various wholesalers, and can supply a wide range of telecoms equipment, from phones to fax machines, pagers, and phone systems, but we specialise in ISDN and VoIP equipment and complete telecommunications solutions for small to medium sized businesses, including equipment for telephone, SMS, Fax, email and internet access.

Andrews & Arnold Internet service (called AAISP) was launched in 1998, and provided dialup ISDN and analogue with fixed IP and SMTP mail delivery. Now AAISP provides a range of services including a premium business Broadband permanent internet connection with fixed IP. We also provide some photographic services.

We aim to build good business relationships with our customers and suppliers. Whilst we are not ISO 9000 accredited we understand the principles of quality, and are always striving to improve our business processes. We welcome constructive comments.

Monitoring

We believe in being open and honest with out customers. Some customers have asked about monitoring of internet activity (e.g. monitoring web page accesses and profiling them and sending to third parties for directed advertising). The website www.badphorm.co.uk has some details on this matter.

There is some monitoring that we carry out:-

• We monitor your usage levels on each broadband line (up/down traffic levels) and provide this for you to view. This includes packet loss and latency data as well. This is mainly to maintain the quality of the line(s) and for correct billing for usage. If you have a dealer set up they too can see this information so as to assist you. We also provide this to BT to assist is diagnosis of faults on your line. This is not monitoring what you are actually doing in any way.
• The various applications we provide on our servers have logs (such as email, our web servers, etc). These logs are kpt for a couple of months so that we can sort any support queries you have. Obviously if you access any web site the site owner will monitor that access and that includes web sites we host for other people.
• As a telephone service provider we log call records for correct billing and provide this to you on your bill.
• We record calls to/from our offices so that we can maintain a quality of service and resolve any dispute over what is said.
• Every minute we take a brief snapshot of traffic through our core routers. This is only held for 24 hours and is used to diagnose any network issues.
• If you ask us to, we can dump traffic for your line or carry out other specific monitoring for you to help you diagnose issues you have, but we do not then save this data beyond your specific enquiry.

We do not monitor what external web pages you access or the types of traffic you send or receive. Other than as explained above we do not send our monitoring to third parties. The exception being co-operation with police enquiries under suitable authority.
